Another Christmas Diddy

Jingle Bells

Dashing thru the stores
Shoving thru the fray
Shopping we will go
"Charging" all the way.

Bells on doorways ring
Announcing we are there
"Charge it!" we all sing
We haven't got a care.

Jingle bells, shopping's swell
Spending all our pay
But, we don't have to pay for it
'Til after Christmas day.

Fighting to the front
With a half ripped off pant leg
Gotta get that doll
The one called Little Meg.

Clawmarks on my arm
An elbow in my face
Fighting tooth and nail
Just to leave this place.

Jingle bells, shopping's hell
But, I got that doll
Oh, what fun it is to shop
This Christmas at the mall!!

Well, being poor is a blessing in disguise. I have no bux, so I don't have to go shopping. I only get paid two days before X-mas, anyway. By that time, it doesn't matter anymore!!
Good thing my kids are gone for the holidays.

Well, it's not like I'm loaded. But, by the time Christmas is over, I';; be broke. :) Still shopping myself. I always seem to have more than half my shopping to do the last couple of weeks.

Very cute. I hate shopping during the holiday season. Nothing is worth that mess. :)

I hate the shopping scene as well. Fortunetly, almost everyone on my list can be satisfied by a purchase at various on-line horse tack stores or at LLBean.com.

I was going to try to be really personal this year, and do things that were nice and sentimental, but as I have procrastinated, that is out the window. Thank god for mother's day and a GIF's B-day that come soon for the sentimental gifts.

I have had WAAAYYY too many people who did me well this year. I could NEVER repay them for all they've done for me when I was in the gutter.
God will bless them , I'm sure. Once again, He picks up my tab!!

And there you have it, the absolute most thoughtful gift. Prayer. Nothing could be more personal, than praying for someone.

Axe, you've gone and made me tear up.
I'm supposed to be working and now Tiffany thinks someone in my family must have had an accident. Gotta go.

You're exactly right, prayer is the most personal and precious gift ever- It costs nothing, yet is priceless. People have forgotten what Christmas is all about, and that's so sad.

PS: I feel for ALL of the retail workers, I remember what HELL it was working during the Christmas season :0(
